The Inbetween

 

The in between is setting on the fence not knowing which abyss to fall

On right only lies the loneliness of life

On the left lies the pain of the heart

Being here before so many times wanting only to be save from the looming dawn

Trying to understand it all

Being afraid of the loneliness of life that is waiting to devour

Being afraid of the pain that threatens to engulf

 

The Inbetween

Sits alone staring into the abyss of loneliness

Trying to figure out how to see over the sadness

Trying to see if there is anyone will be with the coming dawn.

Sits alone staring into the abyss of pain

Trying to figure out how to see through the all encompassing ache

Trying to see if there is any happiness in the future with the coming dawn

 

The Inbetween

Sits alone and sees nothing with the coming dawn

But continues to hold hope that someone will come and save them.
